Tomorrow I will have the joy and honor of going to Jr. High camp with about 40 kids from our church. I have done this now for 12 years, and I consider it a privilege to be part of this group. I get worn out, sweat too much, feel old, rub blisters on my feet, and crash in bed every night while I am there. Some folks might say I need to throw in the towel. After all, I am 55 years old, and by far the oldest person there. But these wonderful kids keep me pumped up and seeing them so crazy about life is worth it all. Their tender hearts and love for Christ is worth every ache and pain. They teach me well, and I go away each year a little wiser. Someday.... but not this year, I will truly be too old to go on doing this. But for this year, I shall go and be taught again.
